On April 8, 2010 the Col. Richard Somers Chapter held the first Raymond N. Beebe Law Firm Historical Lecture.  Our first Speaker was Professor Andrew Shankman, Professor of History, Rutgers University.   Professor Shankman provided us with insight into the life of the post revolutionary George Washington. 
 
This meeting was extremely well attended and is hoped to be the first in an ongoing series.  The series is sponsored through the generosity the Raymond N. Beebe Law Firm.
