On Saturday, October 15, 2022 the Col. Richard Somers Chapter, NJSSAR, along with our sisters of the Ge. Lafayette, NJDAR  conducted our annual memorial service to remember the Battle of Chestnut Neck.  We were honored by a visit from the NJSSAR Color Guard and special guest speakers Port Republic Mayor Nikki Giberson and Atlantic County Surrogate Jim Curcio.  Past Chapter/State President Norman Goos gave a brief presentation regarding the readiness of our local Patriots immediately following the causal events of the Revolution.
