On October 15, 2022 we honored four revolutionary war heroes by placing SAR grave markers on their final resting places in the the Smith Meeting House Cemetery. We were joined by the Gen. Lafayette Chapter, NJDAR, the NJSSAR Color Guard, Port Republic Mayor Nikki Giberson and Vittoria Flick, NJ Senior State President of the Children of the American Revolution. Â
Compatriot Ken McGill, South Jersey Chapter, a descendant of Micajah Smith, presented a biography of each of the honored Patriots.
